The assembly was engineer to lightly lift the hood for you and hold it open allowing easy access all around your engine bay. Truss design brackets are CNC machined from 6061-T6 billet aluminum and clear anodized. Includes high quality satin finished struts with stainless steel pivots. Use our hood mount hardware to finish it off (# 359662-M8-SSB ) Not recommended for GT500 or cars with Hood Scoops. As these hoods are a little heavier and struts will likely not hold hood up especially in Colder temperatures.
