Mustangs Plus now offers the superior cooling qualities of Griffin Radiators for your late model too! The strength of the materials is one difference between copper and aluminum radiators. Copper tubes must be very thin to keep a copper/brass radiator cooling efficiently, but aluminum is much stronger, allowing the use of considerably wider tubes and therefore more direct contact between the tubes and the cooling fins. This increased tube to fin contact means that a 2-row aluminum radiator with 1” tubes is equivalent to a 5-row copper brass radiator with ½” tubes.
